A Glass of Milk Moral Story For Kids
Once upon a time, there was a poor young boy named cherry. To buy food and attend school, he did odd jobs. One day, after school, the boy was starving.
“I don’t have money today, and I don’t have a job lined up until the night,” the boy said. What can I do to survive today? Maybe I just need to drink some water to settle my stomach.
So the boy decided to ask one of the houses in the neighbourhood for a glass of water. He knocks on the first door, and a young girl opens the door. The boy asked a young girl, “I am very thirsty can you please give me a glass of water,” the young girl replied, “yes, wait a minute”.
She saw the boy’s condition and knew how hungry he was. Instead of a glass of water, the young girl brought him a glass of milk.
The boy was surprised to see the milk. “I cannot take this,” he replied. I do not have any money to pay you for it”.
The lovely young girl told that boy, “it’s okay, you don’t have to pay me for it”. The boy was so happy to see a glass of milk and replied to the girl, “Thank you so much”. After drinking the milk, the boy felt better right away. The boy thanked her and went his way.
Many years passed. The girl was now a woman and was very ill, she was taken to the hospital. Testing revealed she had a rare type of disease that would require a lot of care for several months.
Dr Philip was assigned to her case. The doctor told the woman, “don’t worry; we will take care of you.” The woman thanks the doctor for her treatment.
As he promised, Dr Philip took great care of her. The doctor visited her daily, stayed by her bedside at night, and made sure she was always comfortable.
Eventually, six months of therapy in the hospital resulted in the woman going home. But she worried and called the nurse to her room. The woman asked to nurse, “I am healthy now, but I am worried.
Now is the time to pay my hospital bill, but “I’m afraid I won’t be able to afford it.” “Oh, you don’t have to worry about it,” the nurse said… Your bill has already been paid.”
The woman was shocked and asked to nurse, “What? By whom? “The nurse replied, “Have a look yourself.” The girl was astonished.
The entire bill was cancelled, and in big bold, it was written; this bill was paid for years ago with a glass of milk, and it was signed by Dr Phillips!
The girl could not believe her luck! Dr Phillips was the young boy he had helped years ago.
She saw him today as a saviour and a helper.
Moral of the A glass of Milk Story : You never know how your one good deed can turn into another good one. So never hesitate from helping others.
