Little Red Riding Hood Story

Little Red Riding Hood

Once upon a time, in a village deep in the forest, there lived a little girl named Little Red Riding Hood. She was called that because she always wore a red hood that her grandmother had made for her. One day, her mother asked her to take a basket of goodies to her grandmother, who lived on the other side of the forest.

Little Red Riding Hood was excited to see her grandmother, so she put on her red hood and set out on her journey. She skipped through the forest, picking flowers and enjoying the scenery. However, little did she know that a cunning wolf was watching her from behind the trees.

The wolf approached Little Red Riding Hood and asked where she was going.

Wolf: “Hello there, little girl. What are you doing here all alone in the forest?”

Little Red Riding Hood: “I’m on my way to my grandmother’s cottage on the other side of the forest.”

Wolf: “Ah, I see. Well, let me give you some advice. Why don’t you take the longer route, and I’ll take the shorter one and meet you there? That way, you can enjoy the scenery, and I can get to your grandmother’s cottage before you.”

Little Red Riding Hood: “That’s a great idea, thank you!”

Wolf: “You’re welcome, little girl.” “I’ll see you later.”

Little Red Riding Hood innocently told the wolf that she was on her way to visit her grandmother, who lived in a cottage on the other side of the forest. The wolf then slyly suggested that Little Red Riding Hood should take the longer route, while he would take the shorter one and get to her grandmother’s cottage before her.

Excited to take the longer route, Little Red Riding Hood thanked the wolf and skipped along the path. However, the wolf quickly ran to the grandmother’s cottage and gobbled her up, disguising himself as her.

When Little Red Riding Hood arrived at the cottage, the wolf, disguised as her grandmother, invited her in.

Wolf (disguised as grandmother): “Hello, my dear. Come in and have a seat.”

Little Red Riding Hood: “Grandmother, what big ears you have!”

Wolf: “All the better to hear you with, my dear.”

Little Red Riding Hood: “Grandmother, what sharp teeth you have!”

Wolf: “All the better to eat you with, my dear.”

Little Red Riding Hood was surprised to see her grandmother’s big ears and sharp teeth, but the wolf cleverly disguised himself as her grandmother, telling her that he had a cold and his appearance was due to that.

The wolf then suggested that Little Red Riding Hood should take off her red hood and crawl into bed with him. Little Red Riding Hood obeyed, but the wolf, being cunning, ate her up in one bite.

A huntsman happened to be passing by the cottage and noticed that the door was open. He went inside and saw the wolf lying in bed, with Little Red Riding Hood’s red hood next to him. Realizing what had happened, the huntsman quickly killed the wolf and rescued Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother, who were still inside his stomach.

Little Red Riding Hood learned a valuable lesson from this encounter. She was lucky to have been rescued, but she knew that she should never talk to strangers or go off the beaten path again. From that day on, Little Red Riding Hood always listened to her mother’s advice and never went into the forest alone.

The moral of the story: Always be careful of strangers and never stray from the path.
