How to Draw Goku – A Step by Step Guide
In the Dragon Ball series, Goku was born in Japan during the early 20th century. He became a superhero after he met aliens called Saiyans. His story inspired millions of fans around the world to follow his adventures in the manga and anime.
Dragon Ball Z, the original Japanese version of the Dragon Ball series, aired its final episode on December 31st, 1995. However, the anime continued airing until 2001, when the last movie, Resurrection ‘F’, premiered.
Drawing characters like Goku is fun, but drawing them well takes practice. Here’s a list of tips to follow when drawing any character:
Start With Basic Shapes –
Start out by sketching basic shapes first. These shapes are simple rectangles, circles, ovals, squares, triangles, and so on. Draw these shapes lightly and loosely to establish a foundation for your next step.
Add Details –
Next, add details to the shapes. For example, if you’re drawing a face, add eyes, nose, mouth, eyebrows, and hair. Don’t worry too much about being super precise yet; just focus on making sure that everything is roughly proportional.

Be Consistent –
Once you’ve drawn all the basic shapes and added details, make sure that every part of the image looks consistent. You’ll want to keep things looking uniform throughout your design.
Finish Up!
Finally, finish up by adding anything else you’d like to put in the picture. Remember, though, that the finished product shouldn’t necessarily resemble exactly what you drew in step 1. It’s fine if your final design doesn’t match your original idea 100%. Just try to make sure that the end result still follows the guidelines listed above.
